In 195, he proceed to the federal polytechnic ilaro, ogun state where he graduate in 1991, with a higher national diploma in accountancy, he attended Babcock University, illishan where he bagged hi Bachelor of Science B.Sc. (Hon) in accounting. He also holds a diploma in law from the executive business school, ikeja (2014)

Tobi started his working experience by joining the firm of mojibola oluwa & co. chartered accountant in 1993 from where he join federal Inland Revenue service.
In the FIRS, he is at present an Ag Director (technical) and has the following position:
·         Head, special tax audit
·         Chairman, special reconciliation and review committee (SRRC) with responsibility for the southwest which include Lagos
·         FIRS representative on micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME), office of vice president
·         Head, domestic tax payers, tax investigation and special enforcement division.
Tobi, a professional to the core, is among many affiliations a fellow of the prestigious institute of chartered accountant of Nigeria.
Tobi on the social side of life belongs to so many clubs and associations; he is currently the lead doyen of the join mind club international, a club breeding chartered accountant for over twenty five years, formed in federal polytechnic ilaro in June 1990.
Tobi, believe in charity, he became a 10-star Paul Harris fellow, called a major donor of the rotary international, cause fighting polio in every part of the world.
He loves reading, travelling, meeting people, watching sports such as football, tennis, lawn to mention a few.
